I’m a dwarf (little person or LP) and have been frustrated by the fashion industry for not designing for people like me. Yet, I came to the realization that I’m more frustrated at myself for not doing something about it. I can’t sew, I wish I could, but I can speak and am choosing to do so here. What I’m saying does not diminish the fact that great strides have been made in the fashion industry to be more inclusive of different body types and abilities. My point is that there is still a long way to go. I hope you join me on this journey and who knows? We may wind up changing the world.
